Here are some of our frequently asked questions, we hope they will help you, If you still have some questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Do you operate from a fixed address?
Yes, our office is in Little Common, Bexhill. On the roundabout, next to the cafe and opposite the Wheatsheaf Inn! 2 Cooden Sea Road, Little Common, East Sussex, TN39 4SJ.
Can you provide trade references?
Yes, we have a list of previous customers covering all sorts of works, that we are happy to provide details of.
Are you registered for VAT?
Yes, we are VAT Registered. Our VAT registration number is 153244236
Do you give a written estimate?
Yes, we do. After an initial meeting with you, we'll provide a detailed estimate for all works discussed. Should you accept, depending on the size of the project we will also provide you with a work and payment schedule, detailing works to be completed in each week.
When can you start?
We will give a realistic proposed start date on an individual project basis. This can be discussed with a member of our team.
Do you have insurance cover
Yes, we are obligated to have Public and Employers Liability Insurance along with construction insurance. You are welcome to see the certificated upon request.
Do you offer a guarantee of your work?
Yes, on specialist materials that we supply and fit only, such as windows and doors, electrical components, flat roof coverings etc.
Do you expect a deposit?
We require deposits on any bespoke / made to measure items only, on small projects (less than a week) are invoiced at the end of the project. Projects over a week will be provided a payment schedule where payments are required at each stage of the project.
How do you expect me to pay?
We accept BACs, Credit / Debit Card and Cheque payments.
How do you deal with changes to the specification?
Any changes should be put in writing and we will put this under additional/rebated works, we will update you accordingly with any cost adjustment. Please note that changes may cause a delay on your project.
Do you have all the necessary trades and skills in-house or hire sub-contractors?
We have both. Our subcontractors are supervised to ensure consistency and exacting standards. They are regular sub-contractors that have worked on many of our projects with us for many years. They are generally trades that require qualifications and certifications such as "Part P and "Gas Safe", which are regularly updated.
